Legal and Tenant Information

Welcome to Seattle Accommodation

At Seattle Accommodation, we have a professional team — including legal advisors — to assist and guide you as a tenant.
We understand that as a student, legal and accommodation matters should never cause unnecessary stress for you or your parents or guardians.

Understanding Student Accommodation

Student accommodation is different from normal rental housing because you are renting a room or bed and will share the living space with other students.

If your room is a shared room, you will have a roommate.
Most of our accommodation consists of flats shared by five students, where you will have access to common areas such as the kitchen, bathroom, and living area.

Before signing an agreement, it’s important to know how many students will be sharing the flat.
This information should be clearly stated in your correspondence.
The landlord or property manager will discuss and confirm this with you.
Remember, you are renting a bed space and sharing the rest of the flat with other students.

Finding and Securing Accommodation

Finding and securing student accommodation should be a quick and straightforward process.

When searching for a place that meets your needs — such as Seattle Accommodation — most of your time will likely be spent communicating with the landlord or property manager and reviewing the terms and conditions.

If a landlord cannot provide a written agreement or go through the contract and house rules with you during discussions and viewing, it may lead to misunderstandings or unnecessary stress later on.

Booking Confirmation

Once you find accommodation that meets your expectations, the landlord (Seattle Accommodation) will request that you complete an application form.
You will need to return the completed form together with any required documents and proof of your booking confirmation payment.

The Student and his/her parents/guardian are aware that this Application for space does not constitute a lease agreement between them and the Landlord, but is merely an application to be considered by the Landlord and or his agent which is subject to the latter approval. The landlord and his agent reserve the right to disapprove and reject this application.

This payment secures your booking and confirms your intention to occupy the accommodation.
Please note that your room is only officially booked once the payment has been received and confirmed in writing by the landlord or property manager.
Without written confirmation, your booking cannot be guaranteed.

At Seattle Accommodation, we understand that the start of the academic year can be financially demanding.
Our approach is designed to make the process as affordable and transparent as possible while ensuring that every student’s place is properly reserved.
